IP Communications: It's now sticking...

Walking around the show floor of Fall 2003 VON, one take away is that VoIP is now happening and this time it doesn't seem like it is going away.

There is a positive energy level surrounding the VoIP space that has not been felt in quite some time. Whether is was the larger number of carriers who visited the show floor or the number of IT/IS executives waking the floor, it now seemed as if there is no looking back and together we will be forging forward thru the fog and into the future.

Fall 2003 VON has proven to be a positive turning point in the 21 event history of previous VON conferences. I look forward to charting the continued course of our recovery over the next six months and what looks like real positive signs to an even larger and more successful event when we get together in six months in Santa Clara at Spring 2004 VON.

I think the Wireless Internet Summit is worth a visit then, if this is your interest.

I'm excited to hear that the conference is going well and that momentum is building. I'd be keen to read a recap of WiFi Voip Summit and any announcements that came out from device manufacturers. Affordable consumer grade devices are the key to adoption.
Keep up the good work.
