More Money Coming into the VoIP Space

Earlier this week, Voiceglo announced that they raised $28 million which comes in on the heels of Vonage's recent additional funding announcement. While these higher profile companies have been able to raise money, look for funding announcement for some VoIP start-ups to start to trickle in.

The class of 2004 is being brought to you by: some real new faces, some who did quite well in the past as well as alumni of the past dot-com world who were crushed in the past.

Who says that "there is no such thing as a second (or third) chance?"

In the world of IP Communications, where one is bounded only by their imagination, it is great to see investor confidence re-enter the marketplace.

It is also just a matter of days/weeks/months until some of the more mature private VoIP Companies which we have gotten to know at VON over the years will start to file for their IPOs.

Anybody want to guess with me who will be the first 5 private firms to file?

Please email: jeffp@pulver.com with your guesses.
