E9-1-1 Critical Issues Forum (CIF) - San Jose: 30 Nov - 2 Dec

The E9-1-1 Critical Issues Forum (CIF) is coming to Santa Clara November 30-December 2, 2004.

IP is both a challenge and a unique opportunity for 9-1-1. IP-based emergency calling and non-verbal emergency messaging must have access to current and next-generation 9-1-1 systems. IP as a basis for updated E9-1-1 infrastructure is the opportunity.

Co-hosted by pulver.com and the National Emergency Number Association (NENA), the Critical Issues Forum will bring people up to date on NENA and IP industry work on current and future designs for 9-1-1 public safety communications systems. It also offers a forum for people to provide input into current and future system design.

If you are concerned about E9-1-1 and work in the VoIP industry, this is a meeting you may want to consider being a part of.
