Internet Tech Caucus and Technology Fair: Tonight in DC

Later today I will be heading to Washington, DC to attend the 2006 Internet Tech Caucus and Technology Fair that is taking place from 5-7 pm at the Dirksen Senate Office Building.

According to the event website:

"This event serves as a great opportunity for policymakers, staffers, industry executives and public interest advocates to come together, in an atmosphere of technology, to network with their peers. Hosted in conjunction with the Internet Caucus and its Co-Chairs, the goal of this annual tech fair is to bring cutting-edge technology demonstrations to Capitol Hill that illustrate the power and flexibility of the Internet as medium for communications, commerce, and democracy."

I've attended and exhibited at this event for the past couple of years and found it to be a great place for a high-tech "show and tell" between industry and Capitol Hill.

While I'm not exhibiting at this year’s event, friends of mine are, and I'm looking forward to the reception and the networking.
