Public Relations (PR) at Spring 2006 VON:
"Booth briefings are usually just canned demos, the noise at
VON is at a fever pitch because the crowds are so big and
what’s more I usually find that either the person giving the
demo or I has someone come up to one of us just to say hello." - Andy Abramson
A couple of weeks ago the pulvermedia team reached out to the PR folks in our database and invited them to join us at VON for a briefing on how to get the most out of our VON events. The briefing is taking place on Tuesday, March 14th. If you work for a PR firm and have a client who is either exhibiting or speaking at Spring 2006 VON, please contact: Christopher Erb for more details.
After reading the PR related blog posts from Ted Shelton and Andy Abramson, they both make some great points that should be read by both the clients of these PR firms and the people at these PR firms responsible for setting up press briefings and other meetings on behalf of their clients.
And it is because of some of these points that there are other members of the media who will be attending Spring VON but have asked us not to include their names on the Press List that is shared with our speakers and exhibitors.
