Russell Shaw: Sorry, the VON Show is not "CES for VoIP"
ZDNet: Sorry, the VON Show is not "CES for VoIP"
"If you are an exhibitor, keynoter or panelist at a show like this, you tailor your presentation to your audience. This particular conference is more oriented toward enterprise users, VoIP carriers, and technology solutions partners than it is toward consumers or even retailers who either carry VoIP products, or who are in the sales sights of vendors who would like them to.
A Consumer Electronics Show for VoIP, the Von Show is not."
Russell, VON serves the IP Communications Industry and as such, is not 100% focused on just consumer services. While we have a rich history of companies launching their consumer VoIP services at our VON events, there was a reason why we partnered with CEA and started producing and hosting our "Consumer VoIP Summit" co-located at CES back in 2005.

I had a great time at the conference, thank you for having us!
The Invenio guys all learned a lot, met some great people, and now have a much better insight into the industry.
I posted some of my insights today on my blog:
