So "Ben" is a reference to The Graduate...
Turns out the answer to the question of who is the Ben referenced in yesterday's WSJ Story, Mr. Pulver Has Just Two Words For You, Ben: Internet Video is The Graduate.
---
The Graduate (1967):
Mr. McGuire: I just want to say one word to you - just one word.
Ben: Yes sir.
Mr. McGuire: Are you listening?
Ben: Yes I am.
Mr. McGuire: 'Plastics.'
Ben: Exactly how do you mean?
Mr. McGuire: There's a great future in plastics. Think about it. Will you think about it?
Ben: Yes I will.
Mr. McGuire: Shh! Enough said. That's a deal.
---
Special thanks to: Greg Broiles, Paul Kapustka, Ben Teitelbaum and Jon Arnold who figured this out.
I guess others at the WSJ also had trouble with this reference since it seems that the title of the online edition of the same story has since dropped the Ben reference.
