900+ People Joined our Celebration at Galina for the Israeli Hi-Tech Industry on June 22nd
On Thursday night June 22nd at Galina located in the Port of Tel Aviv, over 900 people joined our “Summer Party” for the Israeli Hi-Tech Industry. The event was a virtual “Who’s Who” in Israeli Hi-Tech and brought together the leading Venture Capitalists and senior executives of the Hi-Tech sector. Our party also served as a “camp reunion” for quite of number of alumni of KinnerNet and also helped reunite a number of old friends who had not seen each other since either high school or the army.
While the Roger Waters concert was the buzz event of the evening, it turned out that our event was also one of the “buzz events” of the night thanks to the publicity generated when it was mentioned on-line by The Marker and also by Time Out Tel Aviv.
I hope our 900+ guests had as a good as time as I did. Special thanks to Yossi Vardi for helping me co-host the event as well as the support of the team at the Galina Beach Club for their excellent execution of the event.
I look forward to making this an annual celebration and hosting another event in Tel Aviv in 2007.
