Mets win again. Mets beat Astros 4-3.
Today it was Xavier Nady who made his presence known when he hit a three run home run in the fourth inning. Going into the fourth inning with the Mets trailing 3-1, Nady’s 3-run home run put the Mets in the lead and El Duque pitched well enough to win his fourth game as a Met.
The Mets are now 21 games over 500 and lead the Braves and Phillies by 13.5 games. Tomorrow Mets Rookie picher Mike Pelfrey will be going for his third major league win and the Mets will be going for a three game sweep of the series.
Let's Go Mets!
