My Long Night’s Journey into Day at podcamp Boston

Last night I caught up with Chris Brogan, Justin Kownacki, the team at Rocketboom, blip.tv and the rest of the community of people who made up PodCamp Boston. The meeting place was the Grand Canal. While there was some Fear and Loathing at Podcamp, I enjoyed the opportunity to catch up with some of the people whose work is listed in my Guide to "TV Shows Only Available on the Internet". It was a veritable Who’s Who of the Internet “Vidirati”.

This morning I decided to visit podcamp and sit in on some of the sessions. Within minutes of arriving at Bunker Hill Community College, I was added to the Wiki and, 15 minutes later, I was set to give a preview lecture on the future of Video on the Net and the concept for something I'm calling "Digital Popcorn", which will be explained in detail during my talk at VON and Video on the Net on Tuesday morning.

While I was on-site, I did a few interviews, including a session with a puppet and another with Steve Garfield.

Congrats to Chris Brogan and Christopher Penn for organizing a GREAT event.

Jeff -

Terrific to meet you at PodCamp, and glad you had a great time. Seems like everyone came away from PodCamp with something new, and hopefully your insights will energize Pulver Media as well. Having been a trade show junkie during the late 90s and been at every MSDN during that time, I can say that trade shows and conferences could use some of the PodCamp magic and your personal power!

Best regards,

Chris

Jeff, thanks for coming down to PodCamp. I hope you enjoyed the experience of rubbing elbows with the guerilla mediamakers as much as we enjoyed meeting you and hearing your insights. I look forward to catching up with you at Video on the Net this week.

It was definitely cool to be there for the warmup for Digital Popcorn. I got it!

Thank you for the beverage benefits bestowed upon Boston's barhopping b...bpodcasters. : )

What great snaps. Is there any new media tech you AREN'T mastering.

P.S. That fox looks oddly happy.
