Discovered at Video on the Net: BestTV

Earlier this year when I was in Tel Aviv, I met Oded Felled, CEO of BestTV. I was hooked on BestTV as soon as he told me to visit his demo page, pick one of the Nature clips and then click on the full screen icon on his viewer and watch the live steaming video in full screen mode. I found the quality of BestTV to be, frankly amazing and unlike other next-generation video delivery platforms; you can fast forward or go back without having to wait for the content to download. This puts BestTV in a pretty unique class amongst their peers. Once hooked, I sent Oded some of the video from the archives of pulver.tv and these clips are now available for viewing on the BestTV platform.

(When you watch these clips, please keep in mind you are watching live streaming content coming from Tel Aviv).

BestTV made their US debut at Video on the Net and I'm looking forward to chart their future progress in both the US and around the world.

Point taken - I was using IE when I looked at their demos. Their Cinema clips were pretty cool too. :)

Their homepage looks great. However, I tried to watch their demo page and -- ACK! -- it tells me "Internet Explorer 5.5 or later needed"!

Where's the love for Firefox and MAC users?

However, it does look pretty crisp in IE... (Where did they mic that snake?...)
