If a one minute rant counts as a television show, this stop-motion animation is one of the best on the web:

Think of it as a minute with a good stand-up comedian.

I love The Show with Ze Frank and I purchased a Happy Tree Friends DVD (no need to buy any more, I get it--cute cuddley Furries get minced).

I'd also recommend "House of Cosbys", although, sadly, the Cosby lawyers have been attempting to censor it, it's really a great cartoon and deserves a spot on the Comedy Central lineup. Brilliant, twisted and hilarious.

Daniel, you raise a great point. (Maybe two.) I in fact just removed "Crooks and Liars" from the list and from www.network2.tv for that same reason. I am also considering the idea of moving ManiaTV off the list.

My goal is to track the innovators like yourself who are creating original "Internet Only TV" content.

Stay tuned! We are in the early days of this emerging revolution. :)

HI Jeff
How do you define a TV Show? Your top five includes Crooks and Liars which is really a blog that pulls copywrited clips off of youtube, and ManiaTV which is a great experiment, but is really a gathering of online TV shows.

So I guess you have three of the top five.

It's great that you are illuminating good work here, and the cartoons that you pointed me too look good. I do miss the dialup days of Spumco and the George Liquor Show.

Thanks for the feedback. We are reconsidering what category to place "Crooks and Liars" for the same reason, especially since they don't offer much in terms of "original Internet Only TV Programming."

Congratulations for getting started. It's good to see something new. I'm sure the production values will also improve, as they inevitably do with people who are committed to making good content. If nothing else you could see the host improving as the show went on.

I am interested to know why "Crooks and Liars" gets the nod as #1 Internet Only TV show. From what I can see it's basically an on-demand a-la-carte assortment of TV clips. I'm not sure how the idea of it being a "TV Show" fits.

Again, looking forward to more episodes.

Just a thought here. Why not call the show "Videos on the Net"?

Little tie in opportunity.
