AniBOOM – the YouTube for Animation
One of the companies that I met with during my recent trip to Israel was AniBOOM.
According to their website, aniBOOM is a “cross-media, cross-platform animation content project which addresses wide audiences through a range of genres, techniques and means”
Uri Shinar presented AniBOOM in a Web 2.0 talk during the Rosh Pina TV and Film Festival. During his talk, I was reminded that Animation is an international and a cross-cultural language that expresses itself in different styles and genres.
Launched just a few short week weeks ago, AniBOOM is quickly becoming the destination site for viewing quality animation on the Internet.
Network2 is currently featuring a number of AniBOOM channels including:
Aniboom's top rated funny movies
Aniboom's top experimental movies
Aniboom's top rated crappy movies

Funny enough, one of my good friends's animation is featured as the most viewed crappy animation called "Nudist Beach". She is extremely talented.
