Today on Rocketboom: Joanne Interviews Presidential Candidate John Edwards
Rocketboom: Joanne interviews John Edwards in New Orleans on run for Presidency
---
Another new-new media milestone. First John Edwards announces his intentions to run for the presidency on YouTube and not on a conventional TV show or some other public high profile location. And then for his first post-announcement interview to be on Rocketboom and not on conventional TV or Cable.
Now that is what "Exploding TV!" and "Television Disrupted" is all about.

I keep hearing nothing but talk in an attempt to make So Called GAY Rights a Part Of America.
I get the impression that a hand full of MONEY HUNGRY POLITITIONS are trying to receive campaign financing from it all.
My statement to all current elected politicions now in office, through the election process is this.
I never heard any person running for office say that he was running in the interest of promoting advancement of perverted homosexuls.
America was born and raised through the WORD GOD,and now the money hungry lawyers have found a way of making their GOD spelled MONEY, want GOD REMOVED FOR MONEY.
And don't you ever dare tell me that I can worship GOD in curch or my home because it means not in public.
GOD always was and always will be part of AMERICA.
I think that a list of events that a politician must read and state under oath that they should and will honer them while in office should be made mandatory for the elected to sign. Then they can add their own personal will to be elected and voted into law. to protect America from the UnGodly.
I volenteered for the Army, the Paratroopers and Korea and I did not do it for the ungodly, espicially those that ran to Cannada to avoid the war.
You have changing the words, GOD BLESS AMERICA TO GOD HELP AMERICA.
It is time to vot on the issue of GOD to remove the UNGODLY.
Sadly but truely yours

Great idea. Even his detractors admit John Edwards is a master of one-to-one persuasion.
In the past, it was the half-hour Fireside Chat, used to speak directly to citizens. Today, it's the 2-minute YouTube video that gets around media filters.

it's going to take the unconventional to stir the masses to action. Congrats to John Edwards and more power to him...and to us!!!
