Brightcove Raises $59.5M in Private Financing
Congrats to Jeremy Allaire and his team for this major strategic financing, raising $59.5M from institutional and strategic investors. It's a big milestone for both Brightcove and the Internet TV industry. His new investors include: AllianceBernstein, Brookside Capital, Maverick Capital, The New York Times Company and Transcosmos. They join existing investors: Accel Partners, Allen & Company LLC, AOL, General Catalyst Partners, The Hearst Corporation, and IAC/InterActiveCorp in the financing.
Looking forward to catching up with Jeremy at Spring 2007 Video on the Net.
