CNN: Old lady surfing Web at 40 gigabits-per-second
---
After my visit to Sweden in April when I met people Living the Broadband Lifestyle in Stockholm, and now after reading about someone who is surfing the web at 40 gigs a second, I have to wonder how long it will be before such an experience will happen in the States.
(Thanks to Kory Kessel for the heads up on the story)

I'm guessing "a long time."
It's always been intriguing that the US, being as technologically advanced as it is, always seems to have lagged just enough behind when it came to the "-for-the-masses" part.
Some examples are cell service, high-speed broadband adaption, etc.
