Some updates on my post about Jeff Pulver’s Strategic Consulting Group

I have had a number of responses to my recent post about my starting a more formal consulting service.

Because of the responses, I've had, I wanted to further clarify and elaborate a bit more on what I am doing.

1. What is a non-deliverable deliverable?

No, there are no formal reports. But there is a deliverable. My deliverable is something I call a 36,000 foot deliverable. Because I travel a lot and meet with many companies, bloggers, VCs, start ups, and policy makers both here in the U.S. and around the world, my view is more on the periphery and of where things are going and how your company or organization could be impacted by the ongoing effects of the Internet.

And aside from technology, disruption, capital markets, telecom and video, I also have a unique vantage point into policy issues and my access to some of the brightest and most creative Internet focused minds in Israel.

2. Retainer agreements:

My standard contract is a six month to one year engagement. It does not serve either of us well to do a one-time gig. When I said ad-hoc in my post, these tend to be projects that will probably span a minimum of six months, so the retainer really serves us both. Once we meet, understand your strategic objectives, feel your pain and sort out what expertise you really need, I can then tell you if I can help and be of value or not.

3. My role at Pulvermedia:

I am Chairman of Pulvermedia, Inc, and I continue to be involved in the planning and programming of the VON conferences and Video on the Net. I am also working on new events including a Summit for Social Media.

Dear Jeff,services.

I just wanted to tell you that I am available for consulting and car work fluently in English, French, or Spanish. I understand but cannot work in Hebrew. But I can deliver even if it means working with Israëlis.

Please note that I have always delivered on all my assignments and all of my clients are delighted.

Assuming you might be interested, I will send you my CV.

Kind regards,

Maurice
