Reflections from The Jeff Pulver Show: Jan 8th 2008

Part of the fun of going live with my show are the people who spent time with us in the chat room. It still amazes me each time I do a show and I am fortunate to be able to bring together an international community of people, many of which are friends from of mine from twitter and/or Facebook. Just wanted to thank everyone for spending their time with us.

Since my first exposure to personal broadband broadcasting in April, 2007, I continue to enjoy the moments before, during and after each show.

This has been and continues to be a learning experience for me. And while my producer Andrew Lipson had deep experience producing shows for the Networks and Cable TV, producing a LIVE show on the Internet was a new experience for him as well.

Broadcasting The Jeff Pulver show is not "routine." And I hope it never becomes routine. This remains a unique experience each time we go live. And while I enjoyed the times I have broadcast the show from outside of the studio, there is something to be said about the comfort of broadcasting from the friendly confines of your own studio.

My hope is that the viewing experience has improved during the past 9 months. And my hope is that will continue to get better over time.

While I take my Internet TV show seriously, I'm not trying to pretend about being a "professional." I'm just someone trying to have some fun. :)

I am learning to prepare in advance for these shows. While there are no scripts, I've learned to plan my shows out and try not to leave too much to chance, while balancing the feeling of not feeling overly prepared. (This is why I only spent about 10 minutes planning out yesterday's show.)

I am looking forward to my next show for 2008 which will be taking place on: Tuesday, January 15th at 2PM EST / 2000 CET.
