Call for Speakers: Video on the Net: NYC - May 12th-13th 2008 (UPDATE)

I'm looking for people who would like to be considered as a speaker at our next Video on the Net Conference, taking place May 12-13, 2008 in New York City.

The focus of Video on the Net is to look at the effects of the Internet on the future of TV, Film & Broadcasting. From my perspective, on the Internet, "Video is just an Application."

Some of the sessions I am currently working on include:

- Roundtable discussion with Execs of TV Networks about their Digital Media strategies
- Mashups of Social Media + Internet Video. What's next?
- The Impact of Internet Video on the 2008 US Presidential Elections
- Future of Internet Video Advertising: A Look at Companies Changing the Landscape
- Personal Broadband broadcasting: Building NextGen TV Stations and Networks
- Personal Mobile Broadcasting: Millions will be sharing; who will be watching?
- Internet TV: Approaches to Public Policy
- The State of Indie Internet TV
- The Future of Video Search
- Internet Video Startups to Watch

(These sessions are in a state of flux. Some will make it to the final program and others will be replaced by other sessions.)

I am also someone who believes that both Personal Mobile Broadcasting and Personal Broadband Broadcasting is going to be BIG, very BIG. :)

As far as the rest of the topics to be discussed, I'm open to your ideas and suggestions. If you are passionate about a topic and would like to be considered to speak at Video on the Net, or if you know someone who you feel could contribute to this conference, please email me ASAP. I'm looking to confirm most of the speakers by the end of this month.
