Video on the Net: NYC - May 13th-14th 2008 (UPDATE 3)

Video on the Net is now taking place May 13-14 at 55 Broad Street in New York City.

The focus of Video on the Net is to look at the effects of the Internet on the future of TV, Film & Broadcasting. From my perspective, on the Internet, "Video is just an Application." Video on the Net is a Media Industry focused event. My goal is to provide a platform for great dialog / discussion for the attending delegates and speakers and bloggers attending this event.

Some of the sessions I am currently working on include:

- Roundtable discussion with Execs of TV Networks about their Digital Media strategies
- Mashups of Social Media + Internet Video. What's next?
- The Impact of Internet Video on the 2008 US Presidential Elections
- Future of Internet Video Advertising: A Look at Companies Changing the Landscape
- Personal Broadband broadcasting: Building NextGen TV Stations and Networks
- How does IP Distribution Change the Professional TV Production Landscape
- Personal Mobile Broadcasting: Millions will be sharing; who will be watching?
- Internet TV: Approaches to Public Policy
- The State of Indie Internet TV
- The Future of Video Search
- A look at how Not-For-Profits are using Internet Video
- Delivering High Quality Mobile Video
- Content Syndication

(These sessions are in a state of flux. Some will make it to the final program and others will be replaced by other sessions. I am still confirming speaking for this event.)

Also, instead of having a session on “Internet Video Startups to Watch”, I will be inviting Internet Video Startups that I find interesting to be part of a Technology showcase / Cocktail Reception that will be held together with NY Video 2.0. Companies interested in being considered to be one of our “Internet Video Startups to Watch” should directly contact me ASAP (send email to: jeffp@pulver.com).

Seating at this event will be extremely limited. At the moment there are less than 100 seats left to fill. If you would like to participate in this Internet Video revolution, you should consider registering TODAY. Once these seats are filled, the event will be SOLD OUT.
