A Look at: Social Media Breakfast Singapore

At 9AM on March 29, 2008 the first social media breakfast was held in Singapore (complete with real-time social tagging). The breakfast attracted quite a number of Singapore based bloggers as well as people who were interested in connecting with others who had a shared passion / interest in social media.

It was great to see how the concept of real-tagging was used by the 40+ people who attended the breakfast. Watching Michael Cheng's video there seems to have been a number of meta social media moments captured at this breakfast. From what I can tell, a great time was had by everyone who attended Social Media Breakfast Singapore.

I hope to have the organizers of this breakfast as guests on a future edition of the "Jeff Pulver Show."

Hi, as a social media breakfast is a good idea, something should not be held only in Singapore but also in many other countries around the world to the cohesion of the community to further strengthen.
I hope that the organizers of this breakfast also in other countries.

Well, it'd be an honor to be a guest on your show. =). The next time I'll be in America would probably only be in 2010 or so, though. Maybe if you happen to come down to Singapore... ;)
