Weekend Project: Get to know 5 of your Facebook “Friends”

For those of you looking for something to do this weekend, here is something you can do without leaving the comfort of your wifi connectivity...Get to know 5 of your Facebook Friends.

The next time you log into Facebook, take a look at your friends list. If there are people on your friends list who you don’t know that well, assuming there was a reason why you said yes to adding them as a friend, now is a great time to make the effort and get to know these people.

The 5 Friends Weekend Project:

- Identify 5 people from your friends list who you want to get to know better.
- Visit their profiles
- Send each of them a short message that relates to something you learned about them in their profile. If you really want to get to know them, make it a video message.
- If you don’t hear back from someone before the end of the weekend, feel free to remove them from your friend’s list. (and if they respond after your removed them from your friends list, well, you can always add them back.)
- Enjoy the conversations with the people who you reached out to.

---

So take a few minutes, identity five people from your friends list who you would like to know better, write down their names, visit their profiles and get started. And who knows, you might have a new friend or two by the end of the weekend.

There are so many factors as to why someone may not answer you at all. Some messages don't really require a response. Sometimes silence is the nicest response, because it means you don't have to respond to their response. With my closest friends, we dont' need to communicate very much ---- we understand each other in the unspoken.

Aren't you afraid that you will get an awful lot of messages this way :-)
