Back Online. Next Stop: New York
In a couple of hours I will be leaving Athens for New York.
I have been in Athens, Greece since Thursday for Stream 08. For the first time since 1998, I ended up being "disconnected" for 3 days.
It turns out the lack of internet access had the effect of making all of the attending delegates more social. And while the thought of not having broadband internet access is usually stressful to me, in the end I think I benefited from being disconnected.
Stream 08 was a great event on a number of levels.
Once I return to New York I will share some of my photos from Greece and will try to catch up on my blogging.

Perhaps it might be a good idea to have one or two hours with no internet access in every convention?
Probably not, but the concept is interesting.
