The Social Media Jungle: Update #2

On November 13th I will be hosting The Social Media Jungle: Leveraging Social Media for YOU (and your business) in Melville, New York.

Since sending out a call for speakers, I continue to be overwhelmed by the number of people who have come forward as prospective discussion leaders. At the moment I am still working on the schedule, confirming additional discussion leaders and the event website.

Some of the people who will be leading discussions include:

- Jeremy Epstein
- Leslie Poston
- Howard Greenstein & Dean Landsman
- Jamie Thompson
- Nelly Yusupova
- Ben Grossman
- Jeffrey Sass
- Justin Oberman
- Brett Petersel & Oz Sultan

Social Media Jungle will focus on how social media will change the way we work and live. Some of the thoughts include: "How social media will disrupt our workplace by empowering companies to LOWER their burn rate", as well as a discussion on how to be the consummate online networker (as well as in the real world), so friends can get ahead of the curve should things continue to go south.

While I will try to place everyone who has come forward with a proposed topic, those whom I am not able to place will be invited to attend and join the conversation. Everyone in the room will have the assumed role of discussant and will be responsible to contribute to the conversation.

Given the limited number of available seats, I have decided to make this an invitation only event.

If you would like to attend Social Media Jungle 08, please send your invitation request to me - jeffp@pulver.com and please include with your request the reason why you would like to be a part of the event community.

And if you would like to be one of our event sponsors, just let me know.

hi jeff pulver,

won't be able to make this one. for future consideration: how to keep your community "hot?" we hear a lot of how it can influence your biz, your personal brand, etc. after getting onboard what is next?
