Steve - thanks for the reference. I just wish I had more professors like yourself when I was going to school.

With the advent of social media, as your students establish their social presence, they can almost always find someone to communicate with on the Internet, regardless of the time of day or where they may be.

And should they travel, I've discovered that twitter and/or Facebook can be a great platform to find someone interesting to share a cup of coffee or a slice of pizza.
