Sometimes We Need to Do Things Alone
One day you may wake up and realize that now is the time for you to make your move.
But, when you look around, you may find people who are there to support you, but who really don’t understand what you are trying to do or how you are going to make something happen. One look into your eyes and they know you will be able to do whatever it is you want to do. They see and sense your passion. And that’s where their connection ends.
There comes a time where you need to go out on a mission and do it yourself. This isn’t a time where someone is going to be there to pat yourself on the back and tell you “Job Well Done” or be there in the event you messed things up. When you are on your personal mission to make something happen, you are only going to be able to make that thing happen if you allow yourself to focus on your mission and not get distracted by anything or anyone.
While I enjoy having a team around to support my own efforts, every now and then I need to sit down with myself and work out what I can best describe as a “Life Map” and look for the direction I am missing and then figure out how I am going to go from one point to another without asking anyone else for directions along the way.
I have learned that when I ask for directions while navigating my “Life Map”, I don’t ever get to the destination that I’m looking for. And for the most part every time I receive directions, they are really distractions.
Not every mission is easy and I don’t always get to my own destinations. But I know that deep down inside there is a way to connect the dots of opportunity together and I am the only one I can rely on to make that happen. Sometimes we need to do things alone.

It was not long cheap wow gold before some one knocked at wow gold cheapthe house-door and called, open the door, dear children, your mother is here, and wow gold for sale has brought something back with her for each of you. But the wow goldlittle kids knew that it was the wolf, by the rough voice. We wow power levelingwill not open the door, cried they, you are not our mother.
She has World Of Warcraft Gold a soft, pleasant voice, but your
voice Cheapest Wow Gold is rough, you gold4power.comare the wolf. Then the wolf went away to a shopkeeper and bought himself a great world of warcraft gold salelump of chalk, ate this and made his voice soft with it. The he came back, knocked at the Cheapest Wow Golddoor of the house, and called, the door, dear children, your mother is here and has brought something back with her for each of you.

Jeff. You are right... during my job and when I create things I have to say that I find myself to be a one-band-man cause I only know what I am capable of and what my idea or my creation can do. So we have to remind ourselves what we can do and being able to do. I never expect anything from people around me to tell me that I'm doing a good job cause they don't know that... Lot of times we are by our own and we have to remember that the only that can make a difference are ourselves.

Thank you, Jeff! I love this post. The thing is, so often what you're saying is seen as a character flaw. People are SO needy to follow the "one true way" ANY "one true way" will do.
Every group I've ever been a part of, I've pissed some people off, not necessarily because I'm an inherently hard to get along with person, but because I just won't conform to other people's ways of doing things.
I've got my own ideas.
Whether they work or don't work isn't the whole point, because I'm willing to fail at my own plans, but am less excited about trusting the plans of others.
It is really cool to have cheerleaders, and I do have some, BUT ... I know what's part of my mission and what isn't. And I try to stay focused.

Just what I needed to be reminded of. Thank you.

So true, I have been on this path now for a almost 2 years and have sometimes found it a very lonely one. Even my closest family doesn't really understand the detail of what or why I am working this way.
All that being said, it is truly gratifying that the people who matter most, trust and support me to do the right thing regardless.
